Spring Hare - Wakayima

This is a rodent which prefers living in dry areas.  It spends most of its daytime sleeping.  It feeds on bulbs and roots which it digs using the fore feet.  The litter is born alive in a chamber.  It lives mostly under the ground. Oh, once I study the behaviors of this animal, I feel happy.
